It seems challenging people over food is the new marketing technique. The Ashville 72oz Steak Challenge is the latest addition following The Big Mac Challenge and The Greggs Challenge. If you often feel half-filled while leaving the restaurant, then you should head straight to a Bristol-based steakhouse- Ashville. The challenge is made especially for you.
The Leigh Street restaurant has a reputation for serving some of the best grub in the city. Its previous monstrous steak challenge became quite famous for separating men from boys. Featuring a huge 72oz (4.5lbs) of meat, it was a serious challenge which was probably not boys’ task.
The new Steak Challenge is a bit different on its own. The famous eatery chain is challenging food-monsters to finish whopping 96oz T-bone steak. If you finish it, you don’t need to pay a single penny.
Here’s what the Ashville’s Facebook post said –
The participants will be served the colossal six-pound steak, and from there on out, valiant meat-lovers will be allotted one hour to finish the lot. If the participants manage to finish it in one hour, then the meal is entirely free, while if not, they have to pay £100.
P.S. – Just £100 for this much amount of meat is not a bad deal.
