Lucky weak dog survives 20 feet fall without any sign of injury or even a scratch

There are always two sides of a story-a happy side and an unhappy side. Well, this is a happy one which you will love figuring out! This is a ‘lost pet’ story which turned out to be one of the really interesting stories to be shared.

The Facebook post of Portia Scovern, the saviour of this story, reads-

“We have rescued a dog from one of the abandoned mine shafts outside Fairplay/Southpark, Colorado! When we found the puppy, she was underweight and dehydrated; in short not a very healthy or strong dog. What really stunned us that despite her feeble body conditions, she survived 20 feet fall without even a scratch on her body. I guess, sometimes lucks find you even when everything is going wrong in your life.

Preston was hiking in that area over a week ago when he heard sounds coming out from the cave. He didn’t know what is in the cave making the sound. The next time Preston and his two other friends Gannon and Portia all went hiking again in the same place when Preston heard actual barking from the shafts. He then rushed into it and he saw the doggy and called the other two for help.

The lost pup, named Cheyenne, was missing for more than two weeks and her owners were clueless. The Facebook post by Portia helped to locate the owner within a day. In the comments section on Ms Scovern’s Facebook post, the owner Michael Captain shared the idea that Cheyenne could have fallen into the abandoned mine shaft.

Later, it was revealed that she is an extreme hiking dog! She is a well-trained dog and has more climbing time than most of us. She is trained to bark if she hears vehicles or peoples.

P.S. – Good dog and good people are all around!
