Lucky man scoops lottery twice
Bruce Magistro of Long Island, NY won $1 million in 2012 playing scratch cards. However, most the windfall was spent on Bruce’s wife as she was battling cancer. He spent most of the money on paying medical bills. Then in March 2016, Bruce got lucky once again. He scooped another life-changing million dollar jackpot. The lottery official who handed him first cheque said, “He was positive and outgoing. I knew he’d win again.”
Lucky man gets nominated for citizen’s award
Kevin Miller of Florida found a wallet in the parking lot near his home. He counted the money inside which was $3,400. He immediately called the authorities. However, Miller was afraid if the cash was stolen, or cops would think he had stolen the cash. Fortunately, nothing such happened, and the wallet was returned to the woman who’d lost it. Later, sheriff’s office nominated him for a citizen reward.
Lucky man finds his cat after a decade
Eleven years ago, Henry McCrea’s cat escaped from his home in Portland. When Misty didn’t return, McCrea thought she had been eaten by a coyote. However, in July, Misty was found and delivered to a local animal shelter. The local shelter was able to reunite Misty with her masters with the help of a microchip installed in Misty’s back.
